Cheap & Good Pies

                                                                    Hello Family...

How are you today?  I was thinking with Thanksgiving around the corner I started planning my menu. Which it's not going to be much but here it is.

• Turkey Legs on sales 4 in a pack for $7 
• Can Of cranberry sauce .76 cents
• Bag of mixed salad  2 bags for $3.
• Stove top stuffing box $1.19 I know that was kind of expensive for a cheapskate like me
• Box  of jiffy  corn bread mix .79 I remember when cornbread mix was .49 cents 
• Pecan/Apple/Or blueberry pie  .50 each
• Something to drink Water.

I was thinking the other day if you want a small thanksgiving and not spend to much money. Look into going to Walmart. I love their pies 2 for $1 and mixed veggies are about $1 a bag. Their meats look ok to be honest I have never purchase any from them. Other then free I find that Walmart comes close to the cheapskate prices I want to pay for food. I am a new yorker so you know our food prices along with everything else is expensive. Dollar Tee & Family Dollar

                                                                    Hello Family

The media is doing it again telling everyone that there are food shortages in many stores because of the shipping containers that are stuck at sea. Also because there are no truck drivers to deliver the shipments  to the  stores. The media says  Gas prices, food prices and eating out has gone up between 10-15%.

That's why the media  is suggestion that people find other places to shop beside their normal supermarkets. I can not lie everytime  I shop in my supermarket I spend a good $100 on 2 bags of nothing.. I look for mangers specials now when it comes to meat and other items that are expensive. I wait until my store has eggs for 99 cents and other sales.  I have also notice that the packaging  is smaller and the price is higher.

Family dollar are the places that people are shopping at now. They are making a killing in their food department. Yes you can buy and make some decent meals for under $10 at the dollar store. ( I Posted a video about this)   But don't forget some of the stuff you find in the dollar store/family dollar  you don't know where it comes from. So be careful. Only buy the products that you know and shop with a budget. Also you need to look into purchasing stock in Family Tree/ Family  dollar stores that way your getting your money back in dividends when you shop the store. Just a suggestion.

                                                         Happy October Family.

I don't know about you but this is a new month to start fresh with spending or shall I say not spending any money. Have you done your October Budgets, decided on what your not spending money on for the month. Me it's  I am on the lotto wagon again. Have you challenged yourself to make more money . I have  created the make $2 dollars a day challenge for myself . This challenge might sound simple but believe me it's not.  the goal is to see if you can make $2 dollars a day or $14 for the week. 

Also have you looked at your goals and decided what you have to do to get to them be it money or anything else? October is a great month to start over and to make your money challenges happen.
