How are you today? I might have mentioned this, but I've learned the slowest way to earn extra money is to open a CD account and just let it sit for as long as you can. I did this with a CD account that mimicked the stock market bond fund for two years. I put in about $5000 and let it sit for 2 years. Ok, I only made about $500 when it matured, but that was $500 I earned as interest. I didn't need the money, so I just let it sit there. Now, when it rolls over, it will get interest on $5500. You don't have to open a CD with that much money or for that long. But if you have extra money sitting around and don't need it for a while. Why not put it somewhere to make money off of it? I know what you're saying, CD rates now are lousy. They are, but overall, either in a CD which the government so far protects or thein the stock market with no protection. I would rather have my money safe right about now. Since I never know when I will need it. besides, it's easier for me to get my money from a bank than a broker. Not that I'm knocking stocks, I love them. I'm just cautious about how much money I put into them. I have money trust issues. Even if you start a bank CD with $500 ok you will make under $5 in interest with the way the rates are, but I always say every dime counts. Especially if you're a cheapskate like me. So, I'll take the little interest I get on $500 and roll all of it over for another CD term and watch my $505 grow to maybe $20 bucks or better, after all is said in done. This all depends on the rate and terms you choose for your Cd account, of course. With the interest I make, I could pay a bill or put down a down payment on some groceries. Since food and everything else are so expensive nowadays.
Suggestion: You can save your coins for a certain period of time and put them into a CD account, rebates, lotto win, or anything extra you don't need, save it. When you get say $500 or more, look into a bank CD. They might be slow, but you still make money.( I'm not a financial expert of any kind, just a cheapskate), Check which bank has a higher CD rate so you can reap the benefits of higher rates. This is one way a cheapskate like me makes the slow and safe way.
Have a great Cheap Cheetah Day & Save That Money
