It Can Be Done

                                                   Hello, My Cheap Cheetah Family

It can be done if you're careful. I went to a Walmart yesterday, and I was looking at the prices for a Thanksgiving dinner. With the way the store rolled back some of its prices. I'm talking 50 cents for a package of corn bread mix, 98 cents for a can of soup, $1.15 for a box of stuffing, and 95 cents for a can of cranberry sauce, pasta .89 cents ,pasta sauce 1.25. You get the picture; the turkeys were 89 cents a pound, and they were large. I'm sure you can find smaller ones that are cheaper. Their discounted area had dinner rolls and sweet stuff marked down. I got a pack of sliced Italian bread for $1.25. So, you can make Thanksgiving dinner for like $25 if you go fancy, and maybe buy a dessert, it might cost you, say $30, but that should feed two or more people. If you budget and plan your meals right.

The Walmart I went to was packed. People were definitely looking at prices and only picking out what they really needed to buy. I don't think Thanksgiving will be a big food event like it was in the past. Since people are just returning to normal. Those who didn't get their SNAP benefits for a while and are just now getting them back. For me, if I were doing Thanksgiving, I would definitely do it from Walmart. It would be cheaper to buy the store brand than the name-brand items. So what are your frugal/cheapskate plans for Thanksgiving? Whatever it is, have a happy and safe one and be blessed.

Have a Great Cheap Cheetah day & Save that Money!!!
