Black Friday....
Good Evening Family. Only a few short days and we have Thanksgiving and Black Friday. The two most expensive days in the month of November. The turkey dinner we can do cheap. But the holiday gift giving I am not sure about. First let's think about this for a moment. Who in your circle of family and friends really need a gift from you this year? Why not offer in the coming year of 2016 to do something nice for your family and friends instead of buying them a gift that they will or will not use. Instead offer to take them to lunch, make a meal for them they like, take them to the movies, donate your time to a charity together, save the money go on a weekend getaway instead of gifts. There are so many things that you can do instead of giving a gift. You want to give experiences and time not so much gifts I feel spending time is more valuable then a gift would every be. But that's just me!

Ten Rules Of Sucess
Warren Buffet’s 10 Rules For Success.
No. 1: REINVEST YOUR PROFITS – When you first make money, you may be tempted to spend it. Don’t. Instead, reinvest the profits. Buffett learned this early on. In high school, he and a pal bought a pinball machine to put in a barbershop. With the money they earned, they bought more machines until they had eight in different shops. When the friends sold the venture, Buffett used the proceeds to buy stocks and to start another business.
No. 2: BE WILLING TO BE DIFFERENT – Don’t base your decisions upon what everyone is saying or doing. When Buffett began managing money in 1956 with $100,000 cobbled together from a handful of investors, he was dubbed an oddball. He worked in Omaha, not on Wall Street, and he refused to tell his partners where he was putting their money. People predicted that he’d fall, but when he closed his partnership 14 years later, it was worth more than $100 million.
No. 3: NEVER SUCK YOUR THUMB – Gather in advance any information you need to make a decision, and ask a friend or relative to make sure that you stick to a deadline. Buffett prides himself on swiftly making up his mind and acting on it. He calls any unnecessary sitting and thinking “thumb-sucking.”
No. 4: SPELL OUT THE DEAL BEFORE YOU START – Your bargaining leverage is always greatest before you begin a job – that’s when you have something to offer that the other party wants. Buffett learned this lesson the hard way as a kid, when his grandfather Earnest hired him and a friend to dig out the family grocery store after a blizzard. The boys spent five hours shoveling until they could barely straighten their frozen hands. Afterward, his grandfather gave the pair less that 90 cents to split.
No. 5: WATCH SMALL EXPENSES – Buffett invests in business run by managers who obsess over the tiniest costs. He once acquired a company whose owner counted the sheets in rolls of 500-sheet toilet paper to see if he was being cheated (he was). He also admired a friend who painted only the side of his office building that faced the road.
No. 6: LIMIT WHAT YOU BORROW – Buffett has never borrowed a significant amount – not to invest, not for a mortgage. He has gotten many heartrending letters from people who thought their borrowing was manageable but became overwhelmed by debt. His advice: Negotiate with creditors to pay what you can. Then, when you’re debt-free, work on saving some money that you can invest.
No. 7: BE PERSISTENT – With tenacity and ingenuity, you can win against a more established competitor. Buffett acquired the Nebraska Furniture Mart in 1983 because he liked the way its founder, Rose Blumkin, did business. A Russian immigrant, she built the mart from a pawnshop into the largest furniture store in North America. Her strategy was to undersell the big shots, and she was a merciless negotiator.
No. 8: KNOW WHEN TO QUIT – Once, when Buffett was a teen, he went to the racetrack. He bet on a race and lost. To recoup his funds, he bet on another race. He lost again, leaving him with close to nothing. He felt sick – he had squandered nearly a week’s earnings. Buffett never repeated that mistake.
No. 9: ASSESS THE RISKS – In 1995, the employer of Buffett’s son, Howie, was accused by the FBI of price-fixing. Buffett advised Howie to imagine the worst- and best-case scenarios if he stayed with the company. His son quickly realized the risks of staying far outweighed any potential gains, and he quit the next day.
No. 10: KNOW WHAT SUCCESS REALLY MEANS – Despite his wealth, Buffett does not measure success by dollars. In 2006, he pledged to give away almost his entire fortune to charities, primarily the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He’s adamant about not funding monuments to himself – no Warren Buffett buildings or halls. “When you get to my age, you’ll measure your success in life by how many of the people you want to have love you actually do love you. That’s the ultimate test of how you lived your life.”
Good stuff. I agree with all the rules.... Have A great Cheap Cheetah Day!

Intro To The Cheap Cheetah Money show. In the beginning....
Money Mindset
Good Evening Cheap Cheetah Family. How are you and most important how's your money? I can not lie to you for the past few week I have not been very cheapish lately. I have spend money on things that were necessary and some not so necessary. So many things have come up that requires more then let's say $500. It has mentally drained me and my bank account for the moment. With so much going on I just did not have the desire to be very cheap. I had more of a desire to find out what my money situation was and where my next payday would come from. Know what I mean? I worried more about money these last couple weeks then I have in a very long time. Maybe because when I spent a lot of money it effects me physically. I get sick from it. I know that sounds crazy but I do get sick if I spend out of my comfort level. Well I still got my challenges going the coin investment one and the lose/win lottery one. So that is a good thing. Hopefully by October I will have my money act together and not have the worries of where my next check is coming from and start enjoying the freedom that I do have because I am a cheapskate!

Making Money
Good Morning Cheap Cheetah Family. I wanted to share one of the things that I learned from watching Million Dollar Listing New York. This show is about New York real estate agents who sell high end real New York real estate. The lessons I have learned from watching this show is this. First you have to love what you do because you will be doing it almost like 24/7, Also you have to have the heart and the drive to deal with stressful and very difficult situations and people. you also have to really think outside of the box because you are not the only person looking for clients for their business and your business is probably not the only one out there so their is competition you just have to be clever and very cunning to get the client before your competitors get them.
You also have to spend money to make it as you can see in the videos they spend a lot of money to stage homes with furniture and the parties they throw cost money, But the rewards of when they sell the place is sweet. So I have learned to set goals, don't take no for an answer, think way outside the box and really love what your doing and have the hunger to do it. The money will come later if you have love for what you’re doing. These guys love what they do and they are sharks in the world of real estate. I love it!

I Love This Show
I love watching
the Old
Let's Make A Deal and the reason is the Prices! When I watch this show
I get amazed at the prices that food was back then. For example a jar of sauce 39 cents, a pack of bacon .89 cents, candy .10
cents, can of oysters .43 cents. A pack of bacon on sale now is $3-4
a pack. candy is $1.69-$3 depending on what you buy. A whole living room set and color TV cost about $1000. back then. A kitchen set with a garbage compactor thrown in
to the mix was about $1000. Let's not talk about car prices a brand new car back
then $2000-$8000. compared to now where
a brand new car would cost between $16,000-80,000. A whole kitchen set now cost more then $1000. Your luck
if you can get a new stove and refrigerator for that price now. Am I right? If you took 50
bucks back then and went into a grocery store. I bet you would come out with
not 1 but 2 bags full of food. I love that era just for the prices that things
were selling for.
While watching this show I noticed that some prizes are no longer offered today. Like
puppies. Gas cards for route 66, a free year supply laundry detergent, A gift certificates
to fast food places like Big Boys
Burgers and Dairy Queens, trash compactors,
mink coats. I also notice that in today's Prices Is Right show we are way less sexist then they were on the old show.
But I can still go
for the prices. Give me back in that era prices any day with today’s salary of
course.
I would be rich!
Have a great Cheap Cheetah Day!

What Being A Frugal/Cheapskate Really Means
Being frugal to me means freedom. "The things you own end up owning you."
- Being free from having to acquire, store, and maintain things that don't make you happier and don't make the world a better place
- Being free from the mental distraction, preoccupation, and mental drain of useless things
- Being from the corporations that try to enslave all of us in consumerism to continue their profits
- Being free from the government-backed notion that economic growth and consumer spending are always necessary and good
- Being free from the social culture (the "Joneses") that pressures us into spending on useless things
- Being free from the destructive downward spiral of depleting the Earth's natural resources
- Being free from a consumerist system that leaves some starving while others pamper themselves in luxuries
- Being free from a consumerist system that encourages waste and duplication rather than sharing
- Being free from a system that pressures us into slaving away at jobs we hate to pay for stuff we don't need
- Being free from a system that encourages isolating us from our neighbors
- Being free from a system that encourages greed and self-pleasure rather than giving
- Being free from a system that offers us false choices and false identities at the expense of true creativity and expression
Basically, it means being free from the Big Lie of our world: "shop, shop, shop and all will be well".
