Hello Family How Are you today?

Being what the situation is which is staying at home until.. Who knows when. We are faced with some pretty tough challenges ahead of us. For me  that the places I normally order from  are closed. ( which I don't do to often) and with my partner not cooking as much as they use to the job now  is mine or we don't eat) Not sure if that's a good thing or not. I have challenged myself to learn how to reuse what I have to make leftovers. I have come to realize  that what I  was running away from  away from which was cooking is not to bad if you plan your meals and make them last for a least 2-3 days. Which I am working on doing. I will confess I am not the best cook, Heck I am not even ok but we can eat it and be thankful for it..

For April I am still doing the Dollar A Day Challenge. Which will require thinking outside of the box because most of the things I do to make my dollar a day is not available right now. So I have to think of ways to make my dollar. I am already selling stuff on line. which that's a challenge within itself to try and go to the post office with this social distancing in place. I am sure you my family have some ideas on how we can still do our challenges even though we are limited in our movements.

If you have any money making  while we are at home ideas. Please share them right here with the rest of us. Would love to know about them.

Don't Be

Hello Family. Please  Please don't be like this a crazy panic shopper. With all the talk of the Virus going around and people getting crazy cleaning out the grocery stores and yes they are even fighting now. Don't be like the crazy crowd be different think about others in this crazy time that we are living in. Share what you have with the elderly who might not be able to face the crowds and the crazies at the supermarket. Remember when you panic shop you are spending way to much for things that you might not even use. Be careful, safe and stay true to your frugal/Chesapeake  self.

                                                                Hello Family..

Don't!! let being lazy cost you money like it did me. I was lazy when it came to eating/cooking at home. So I ended up spending $176 just in eating out for the month of February. Now think about this if I would have shopped and cooked at home it would have cost me half of what I spent and I probably would have had left overs. Don't be like me Lazy when it comes to simple task like cooking to save money!!!

Coronavirus: Aussie shoppers 'panic buying' toilet paper | Nine News Aus...

                                                                    Hello Family..

I know that a lot of people are panic shopping because of this Virus thing going around. But to fight over toilet paper is to much even for a cheapskate like me. So tell me what are you doing to stock up  for the Just in Case  I have to stay home for a couple of weeks.

I read somewhere that if you can't afford to stock up all at once  take $5 out of your budget and try and buy things  that you might need on sale. Stock your pantries slowly and only buy stuff that you know your really gong to use and need. Why waste money on the craziness of buying stuff because your have fallen in to the panic mode like the rest of the world.
