Toliet Rolls
Hello Family This is a Short and Sweet one for you....
Use for Toilet Paper Rolls
1.Use as telescope for little ones
2.Use as a container for wrapping odd shape gifts in
3.Use as a spool to hold recycled ribbon from Christmas
4.Use as a cord keeper
5.Give to gerbils or hamsters to chew on(I need one of these little critters)
6 Use them to roll your hair instead of the hard plastic roller
7. Turn toilet paper and paper towel tubes into kindling and
logs for your fireplace
8. Many gardeners, myself included, place them around the base
of planted leeks. This increases the growth of the tender, white, blanched part
of the leek.
Can you think of any other ways to use the hard roll on the toilet paper?

For $20
Hello family, Just wanted to share this with you. Wow what a difference $20 could make in your food choices. This got me to thinking the next time I want to pay money for fast food I need to walk right out and go to the grocery store because that $20 will go a long way in a grocery store then it will in a fast food joint.

Money Motivation
Hello My Family How Are You Today?
Why does
money motivate you personally?
Here are some reason's from others.......
Because I have a certain
lifestyle I want to live. And you need money to live that lifestyle.
Money is a medium of exchange or tool to get what you want.
Money provides safety (in some life areas), potentially freedom, and most important to me, OPTIONS. Options in how to live materially, where to go. Even being able to have a lot of adopted pets. It's important to me to give nice amounts to charities that I care about

Because having money gives you choices that otherwise would be unattainable. It gives peace of mind
Money doesn't motivate me.
Keeping my bills low + reasonable income = freedom to me.

For me money motivates me because I don't want to be a slave to some else's dream. I want to live my own dream and do it on my terms and in my own way.
What about you?

Half Saves $$
Hello Family How Are You Today?
Things you can cut in half to save money?
Laundry Soap - Fill 1/2 the amount suggested.
Dishwasher Detergent - fill 1/2 as suggested
toothpaste, need the size of a small pea, not what is on the commercials or ads in magazines.
2% choc milk - cut in half w/ 1% white.
Napkins - usually 1/2 will do
Ice cream, use a cup or mug rather than dish or bowl
Serving (portion size), decide how much you want, then take 1/2, don't go for a refill
Pastries, cut in half; leftovers for tomorrow.
Vacations - look at your master plan, then evaluate w/ a reality check (especially if driving). If you are gonna be hurrying just to make tracks, consider 1/2 a trip and enjoy yourself.
Oil changes, check your vehicle manual and oil intervals. Most can go longer (It's still a good idea to change each yr BEFORE winter) Synthetics can go up to 20,000 miles using an oil analysis @ 10,000 mi
Lawn mowing, let the neighbors stew for awhile.
Lawn, Plant a BIG (huge) garden
All paper products.
Cut juice/Gatorade with water (it's usually too sweet, anyway).
Toothpaste.
Soap.
Scrub pads, the square ones, you know, pot scrubbers, not like the SOS pads. I buy the industrial size (9x6) and cut those in half. By the way, your local restaurant-supply food outlet has them in a pack of a dozen 9x6 for maybe about three bucks. Smaller ones cost about a buck a piece at the supermarket.
I also mix fruit juice half/half with water.
I splurge and use twist-ties whole. They are too small to twist when you cut them in half. But I save the big ones that come around broccoli, and cut them into shorter pieces.
Instead of buying 81mg aspirin at a nickel or a dime a dose, I buy the big generic aspirins at about a dollar a ton and break them up.
So what do you cut in half to save $$. I cut my toothpaste, soap, shampoo, paper towels and milk.

Not On Board
Today I want to talk about partners who are not onboard with your fugal/cheapskate ideas and ways. Do you have a partner like this?
He/She
HATES "cheap" meals. If I make soup from a ham bone, he/she
says it's "using leftovers of leftovers." And he/she hates and
refuses to eat leftovers.
He/She hates buying anything generic. Everything has to be name
brand. And they don't use coupons. They feel coupons usage are for poor people.
He/ She hates only buys new furniture it has to
be name brand from a well known store. No knock off or second hand for him/her.
They feel when you buying second hand furniture your buying cheap.
He/She will buy designer clothing or what's in fashion.
Always looking down their noises at thrift stores or yard sale stuff. If it's
not expensive they will not wear it.
He/She only wants to eat in the fancy expensive restaurants, go on expensive vacations. If they want to go to the movies they always want to go to the Imax theaters when are the most expensive ones.
He/ She hates keeping stuff they think is to old even thought you just purchased it last year and it's still good. They believe if it's not brand new through it out.
If you do what are you doing about it?

Family
Well today I want to talk to you on a personal note when it comes to money. Can we really be frugal/cheapskates when it comes to family? I will give you an example of what I am talking about. Yesterday was Easter Sunday and I invited my aunt and her husband to dinner. I had a 15% off coupon for Outback Steak house and I loved their coconut shrimp there so I said what the heck. Well after our meal the check came out to $120. for four people. Normally I would have been upset because this is almost close to the amount of money that I pay for 3 weeks worth of groceries. But when I saw the bill all of my cheapness when out the window because I was treating my favorite aunt and her husband to a great meal and I really enjoy their company. So when it came to her my cheapness goes out the window. So my questions to you is when it comes to family do you let go of your fugal/cheapness for them at certain times?
