Almost Labor Day

                                                                 Hello Family..

It's almost Labor day. Well in 2 weeks it will be. Have you thought about what your plans will be? If your having a family BBQ/ If so then here are my cheapskate suggestions about what to do  for  your BBQ.

1. Find mangers  specials  in the meat department of your supermarket. I have seen some mangers specials tags on meat.  The  meat  was  still good but  it was  expiring soon that 's why they had the mangers specials tag on it. These specials are marked down at a good discount. I have  purchased lamb chops  for $3.00 a pack where they normally go for $7-8 dollars a pack. Same with turkey legs. If you can not find mark down meat go with chicken it's usually cheap, forget hamburger and steaks  to expensive. Hotdogs your might can find cheap if your not picky on the brand you buy.

2. Dollar Tree is your friend you can find your decorations, some basic food items like chips, cookies, cakes mixes, peanuts ,cups and plates that you might need for your BBQ.

3. Everybody loves Walmart they are not a cheap as they use to be. But they can come in handy when it comes to buying sodas or that big can of Lipton ice tea and fruit punch mix. Making your own ice tea and fruit bunch is much cheaper then buying it.

4. For music you can always set up a radio or your iPad, or if you know someone that is a part-time Dj ask them to hook you up with the music for a  small fee or a plate of food. Which ever works the best for the both of you

5. Entertainment for the kids you can buy balloons for a water fight, freebee,  a big plastic ball for dodgeball.  Set up a volley ball net  play volley ball. All these things can be found at your local dollar tree or family dollar store.

6. If your drinking alcoholic beverages have some of your company bring some. You can buy bottles of wine under $5 at your local wine store or some Walmart  stores carry wine and beer at a low cost. What about the booze you got for the holidays use that up and save your money. 

7. Dessert you can make cookies,  get fruit on sale and make a fruit salad dessert, ice pops, Tell the family to bring dessert as well.

8. Most importantly it's family and fun enjoy yourself but be wize about spending when you do it.
